1. Ask questions! Asking any and every question you might have before signing the lease with us is the best way to make sure that you are fully aware of all the aspects of your lease as well as our company policies. We will go over the lease with you before singing. A good way to stress yourself out is to get blindsided by a term of the lease you were unsure of at the time of signing. Please, please, please ask questions!
2. If there is any problem let us know ASAP.
Big or small, all issues with your home are one of our top concerns. It benefits you as much as us to know about the problem immediately. Some problems like a lightbulb that’s out, a slowly draining sink or a smoke detector alarm are your responsibility to try and fix first as per your lease however things outside of that are what we want to know about.
3. Follow the “Golden Rule”Treat your neighbors and your us as you would want to be treated. This is the best way to have a great time renting from us, and your neighbors will love you for it! For example, if something comes up and you won’t be able to pay rent on time… communicate that to us so we can begin working toward a solution. Please don’t make us leave you messages and then eventually have to file an eviction just to get you to talk to us. The same goes for neighbors, communicate and be friendly… just like how you would want to be treated!
